Is Duphaston Effective In Managing Delayed Periods?
Hi I m late 19 days i had blood test and was negative but had scan and showed us that the look like is ready to make baby or the egg on one side but the doctor said am not pregnant because of the blood test results and is proscribed a duphaston 10mg but I m scary of taking it

Blood pregnancy test is positive around the expected day of menses the earliest when menstruation is a regular cycle. In the case of irregular menses or delayed ovulation, such a test may not be conclusive.
Duphaston medicine helps in the development of the fetus in hormonal insufficiency. It does not harm fetid in case fertilization has taken place. Please take pills as per advice. It would induce bleeding in case there is no pregnancy.
