Is Esbriet Effective In The Treatment Of Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis?
My Dr has suggested that I consider taking Esbriet to slow the progression of IPF. However, the percentages of those taking the drug showing delay in the progression compared to those not taking the drug is not that great as shown in the research that I have done online. What are your thoughts on this?

Esbriet is a brand name of Pirfenidone. It is a newer drug and it claims better results even though studies are less in number. However, complete recovery is difficult.
