Is Estring Vaginal Ring Removal Required For Intercourse?
Thank you. I am a 69-year old woman, in good health. Due to the removal of my uterus and my cervix many years ago (at age 32), I have been using the Estring vaginal ring for the last three years, due to sudden heavy bleeding. I am in the process of starting a new relationship and I would like to know if the vaginal ring can stay or needs to be removed during intercourse. Thank you.

The ring should not be removed for sex. It will not interfere with intercourse. In case it falls down accidentally, just rinse in lukewarm water and re insert.
