I am 29 years old. Today morning i checked my sugar just aftr waking up and my blood sugar showed 375!! I am shocked. I am little over weight and currently from the past few months i am going through office tensions and work. I do not have the urination problem but i am getting irrated in a short while. I am also getting a slight pain near to my liver. Please help
Your fasting blood sugar is too high and needs immediate attention. Please go for repeat fasting sugar, 2 hr postprandial sugar, GTT and urine for ketones. Get blood HBA1C measured. It gives a reflection of your blood sugar levels in the past 6 months. You will need oral hypoglycemic agents or Insulin. Maintain ideal body weight and do dietary changes according to obesity and diabetes. Procure an abdominal ultrasound too.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. AJEET SINGH, General & Family Physician
