Is Fosamax Effective In The Treatment Of Osteoporosis?

I am very concerned about even rare side effects re: drugs treating osteoporosis. An looking at injectables. I am at ~25% osteo now, with ~ 10% risk of fracture. Fosamax had no beneficial effect on sister, measured after one year of properly using the drug. Please give me your thoughts. Thank you.

in allopathic practice each and every drug has side effects and also injections so don't think much about it .in whom and at what degree it happen nobody knows so kindly continue Rx like calcium preparation with biphosphates.
