Is Gabapentin Effective In The Treatment Of Insomnia?
Does Gabapentin help in my sleep disorders? How long do I take it before I see of feel an improvement in my problem? Will I notice any side effects? If I take it at night, will I still feel the effects during the next day regarding the pain in my feet? My doctor started me out on 100 mg. Thank you.

Gabapentin not induce sleep but it is used to treat underlying disorder leading insomnia
It is used mainly in herpes zoster pain, restless leg syndrome, neurological pain etc...
So mention cause for which it is prescribed
Following are some side effects of gabapentin...
Like dizziness, gastric upset, weakness, headache etc...
Take gabapentin regularly as advised by doctor
If insomnia related to depression or anxiety related then further psychiatrist evaluation needed
