Nerve pain due to spinal stenosis is unlikely to be relieved with Gabapentin. You should get an MRI of the spine done. If there is ant lumbar disc prolapse causing spinal stenosis, minimal access surgery will help in removal of the prolapsed disc and relieve your pain. Please consult a spine surgeon.
