Is Glimisave M1 Forte A Strong Medicine For Diabetes ?

I am 52 years old. I am dibetic for the last 8 years. Doctor has advised me to take Glimisave M1 Forte. I wanted to know the capacity of the tablet as in how much is the Mg of this tablet. I was earlier taking Glizd M 500Mg. I want to if Glimisave M1 is stronger or not. Thank you.

Hi. Glimisave M1 forte is a combination of glimipride 1mg along with metformin 1gm. Glizid M is gliclazide with metformin. So if your question was about maximum dose per day then glimipride is 8mg and metformin 3gms/day.
The strenght of the tablet depens on your sugar levels and duration of diabetes.
