Is Grocapix Gel Effective In Stopping Hair Fall?
Hello, I am 39 years old. I am taking treatment of stopping hair loss and hair regrowth from last five months. Dermatologist prescribed me Amexidil solution 5% for first 3 months, then Trigaine solution (minoxidil 2%) for 2 months. But I observe slight benefit in hair loss. Now today, Doctor advised me to use Grocapix gel for one month. After one month, I have to go to doctor again to take her advise. Kindly guide me whether this medication is right for stopping hair loss and regrowth.

The treatment of hair fall depends on the cause. Common causes are dandruff / fungal infection of scalp, micro-nutrient deficiency and hormonal changes. I guess you don't have these, as your doctor might have evaluated already. Sometimes we find no particular cause despite evaluation. In such cases we give minoxidil for topical application, as it is proven to promote hair growth and delay hair fall. The problem is that it is a bit costly and need to be used for long duration. All the medicines you mentioned are different brands of minoxidil- so what your doctor gave is the right drug.
