Is HIV Attack Possible If I Have Penetrative Sex With An HIV-positive Woman?
Hello! I had a protected (condom) vaginal insertive sexual intercourse with a woman, potentially Hiv Positive. If she is HIV positive, what are my odds of being infected? Would I have noticed if the condom cracked? I just looked at it after (as I always do) and there was no sign of rupture. Thank you very much!
Condoms are physical barriers that can reduce the risk of a sexual exposure to HIV because they are made of materials that do not allow HIV to pass through them.
So, if you have used the condom correctly the risk is very low.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi General & Family Physician
