Is HIV Possible Due To Genital Contact Without Sexual Intercourse?

Hi Doctor, this is Elisabeth, thank you so much for your help. My english is not good and i hope you will understand my concern. I am affraid of getting HIV since my boyfriend touch my thing with his thing without condome. Actully he didn't penetrated. you think I am on risk of contacting HIV?

I understand your concern that there were only mere touching of penis with vagina .
Usually HIV has been demonstrated in SEMINAL FLUID ( secretion of fluid from penis due to excitement ) of man ,if your partner was an HIV infected person and his seminal fluid entered in your vagina then there is chance of getting HIV infection by you.
Even your partner was an HIV infected , it is not necessary that you got infection , so this is not possible that every HIV infected transmit HIV to his or her partner .
But in my opinion there is a rare chance of getting HIV infection by you with this method .
But still I advise you ( just for precaution ) get in P 24 nucleic acid amplification ( pcr rna ) test for confirmation for HIV.
