Hi,
Welcome to HCM.

Of course it would not be very difficult to know by seeing a tissue paper whether it is a used one or not. Moreover Nowhere the used tissue repeated for another person, especially in a massage parlor. Even if it is reused, transmission of HIV is unlikely as the virus are highly fragile and not live outside the body or body fluids not more than few seconds. Nothing to worry.

thank you for query.usually tissues will not be reused and you cannot be so anxious and worried also.HIV virus do not stay for long in the environment also.it does not transmit through the fomites.so there is almost nil chance of HIV infection. You can get back to me for any clarifications with details.Dr Bharatesh D Basti Dermatologist and Venereologist

Hello
Your ejaculated fluid gathered in the tissue and that was already used for one else ( may be HIV infected person semen). This is the cause of concern that HIV transmitted through your urethra.
HIV has been demonstrated in seminal fluid as well semen both within infected mononuclear cells and in the cell free state.
If HIV infected person have urethritis and epididymitis virus concentration increases.
I want to say that , if that tissue used ( already ) were of a patient of HIV infected , also having urethritis chance of HIV infection is more ,but not necessary .
It depend on many conditions as more virulent strains of virus , viral load , advanced stage-disease , antiretroviral therapy.
In my opinion get in rapid P 24 nucleic acid amplification test for HIV confirmation .
Antibodies to HIV infection begin to appear within 2 weeks of primary infection ( contact with used tissue).
Hope this will help you.
