Is HIV Transmission Possible Through Anal Sex?

Hi I had anal sex, 11 months ago. The person I was having sex with condom broke while he was in me. In less than a minuite I asked him to come out.. He did not cum as yet. I do not know if he wsd HiV positive. Since then I ve been paranoid that I may have contracted the decease. To the point where time I catch the common flue or feel sick. I relate it to HIV please advise.

Hello,

HIV can be transmitted with anal intercourse and the risks are higher then in the case of vaginal intercourse. On the other hand to make sure you will need to have HIV rapid test. This is quite accurate. If it is negative it is likely you don't have HIV but repeat of the test in 3 months is recommended to be completely sure.
if the test comes out positive, repeat of the test with another kind of test of a different company is recommended.

I hope I have answered to your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
