Is HRT Associated With Neck & Shoulder Pain & Low Metabolism?

My doctor prescribed HRT last week.I have been taking them for 5 days. I have horrible neck and shoulder pain and my menstrual cycle came on 2 days early. Are any of these symptoms related to the HRT? Also, I don't have hypothyroidism but very low metabolism and insulin resistance.

Hi
Can you please share with us the exact composition of the HRT prescribed to you. Some progesterone agents can lead to the symptoms you have described. Some of the symptoms you have described, may occur due to menopause itself. We would be able to judge best if you could let us known the exact composition , dosage and regimen prescribed by you physician.
