General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Ulsanic syrup contains sucralfate used to treat gastritis.

HBA1C of 7.4 is higher than normal range.

I would suggest to run a few more diagnostic tests to rule out diabetes:
- complete blood count (we should evaluate the erythrocytes levels and hemoglobin before running into final conclusions)
- fasting blood sugar has resulted normal perhaps because you've not been feeding appropriately recently (perhaps diet you were put on). Should repeat the test again
- oral glucose tolerance test
- lipid profile testing
- liver/kidney/pancreas function test
- urine analysis.

Discuss this with your caring doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
