Is Hodgkin S Lymphoma Cured Based On This PET Scan Report?
My pet scan from August 2015 has an Impression 1. Interval resolution of hypermetabolic lymphadenopathy within neck, chest, abdomen and pelvis. Resolution of hypermetabolic osseous and splenic foci. 2. No hypermetabolic lymphadenopathy or foci of metastic disease are identified. Is my stage 4b Hodgkins lymphoma gone? In English.

Regarding your PET scan report for stage 4b Hodgkins Lymphoma I am suggesting that it has not entirely gone there are still few cancer cells in lymph nodes found in the neck chest and abdomen though no major serious metastases to major organs
Based on your scan report yes you can achieve absolute cure provided you keep regular appointments with your oncologist for counselling and follow up treatment
