Is I-pill Advisable Upon Having Non Penetrative Intercourse?

I didn t have sexual intercourse with my boyfriend. He just rubbed his penis over my vagina few times. I doubt whether I have been in contact with his pre cum. This happened 36 hrs before. Should I take an I Pill? Is it effective now in preventing pregnancy?

Dear User,
There will be rare chances of you getting pregnant since there is no possibility of penetration of semen in vagina. Make sure that you use condom before doing any act just for safety concerns.
Ipill is effective at the dose of 1.5 mg as soon as possible or within 72 hours of coitus. Alternatively, 750 mcg as soon as possible or within 72 hours of coitus followed by a 2nd dose 12 hours later. Another regimen combines levonorgestrel 500 mcg and ethinylestradiol 100 mcg; may be given within 72 hours of coitus followed by a 2nd dose 12 hours later.
If any other queries will be happy to help you.
Regards
Dr.Akash
