Is I-pill Advisable While On Krimson35?

Hi doctor i take krimson35 for my late period arrival an also im in intimate physical relationship with my boyfriend so if i want to avoid pregnancy should i take ipill with the regular dose of krimson35 or just having krimson35 will be fine i want to be 100% sure of not getting pregnant? Please help.

I can understand your concern.

Krimson (Ethinylestradiol + Cyproterone) is an effective combined oral contraceptive pill if taken properly and regularly from the first day of menstrual cycle.

It gives good protection against pregnancy, the failure rate is only 0.25 percent, there is no need of I pill provided you started Krimson within 5 days of onset of periods and are taking it same time everyday without missing any tablet.

However, if you want to be 100% protection, I suggest you to take an emergency contraceptive pill like an I-Pill to avoid unwanted pregnancy. It should be taken within first 72 hrs of unprotected sex. However, sooner is better.

You will get a withdrawal bleeding like period within 5-7 days and next cycle may be delayed for 1-2 weeks due to hormonal imbalance. You must undergo one home pregnancy test if period delays more than 1 week.
