Is IV Luer And Constricting Feeling In Forearm Related?
I am 34yrs old (57kg, 169cm) and healthy. I am experiencing a sudden constricting feeling in my forearm. It feels like someone's gripping my arms very tightly. There is no tenderness or redness at the site. I have had an IV luer on my hand on that side for about 6 hrs today - could it be related?
Respected User, hi I evaluated your query thoroughly. *If the forearm has been kept in the same position for prolong period of time, you will definately feel constricting when IV luer on. *As there is no tenderness or redness , there is no thrombophlebitis. * Keep intermittent mobilisation of forearm as if medicinal fluid continues to flow in the cath. Hope this clears your query. Thanks for using Health Care Magic and reviewing my answer. Wishing you fast and speedy recovery from current ailment. Regards Bye Dear take care.
