Is Ibuprofen A Safe Substitute For Naproxen To Manage Foot Pain?

Hi!I was prescribed Naproxen, Omeprazol and CoCodamol to deal with a foot problem; like gout. Medication ran out and have waited for new prescription til yesterday but the only sent me Omeprazol. Hvae now managed to get Naproxen being in too much pain today but pharmacy is closed til tomorrow. Nurse mentioned I could take Ibuprofen (I have 250mg packet) BUT is it safe to substitute for Naproxen i.e take CoCodamol, Omeprazol and Ibuprofen; I m in too much pain and just not sure.Pse help.Gerald

Hello dear,
Ibuprofen is NSAID drug and safe substitutes for naproxen.
So do not worry, you can take ibuprufen till you get naproxen.
Take ibuprufen 500 mg three times a day for better result.
