Is Klor-Con Safe While Having Single Kidney?

Before I used medicine Cytra-k crystal but now I doctor changed medicine by Klor-con 10 meq tablets , when I use this medicine I feel pain on back look like a kidney . And I just have a one kiney so this medicine is it good for me ?.Thank you doctors.

I am so sorry to hear about this disturbing thought. If your kidneys function well, there is no fear. This is a potassium supplement and have no direct consequence on the kidney, The only fear is that is the kidneys are not working well, then it may build up in the body. If your kidney work well, there is no reason to be scared of this drug.
