Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

For getting stimulation for milk production, you should make him suck breast frequently. Feeding in at least 2 hours interval will be helpful.

You can use Lactare supplements. Take proteinaceous food. Fenugreek, nuts, lentils, etcetera is good for milk production.

Getting sleepy while suckling for long time is usual for babies. Try to give only breast milk till 4 months.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nishad BN
