Is Lorazapam Advisable For Anxiety Along With Lexapro?
What other medication is best taken with lexapro? I need something for anxiety and am wondering if lorazapam would be the best way to go, but i don t know. It is working well for me so far. But i need a professional medical opinion. Abilify and Lexapro are not the best mix -- or so i have read this online
Regarding you concern, I would explain that Laxepro need a time period of about 2 week to show its benefitial effetcs. Meanwhile a fast acting anxiolytics is necessary to be prescribed. As lorazepam exerts more sedative and hypnotic (somnifer) and less anxiolytic effects (for this reason is prescribed for night intake), I would recommend you Alprazolam, as it is has more anxiolytic nad less hypnotic effects.
Hope to have been helpful. Greetings! Dr. Iliri
