Is Lovenox Advisable Before The Replacement Of The Subclavian Stents?
hI MY NAME IS DOLORES. i HAD A SUB CAVIVAL BY PASS SIX AND A HALF YRS AGO. iT IS COMPLETLY BLOCKED NOW. i NEED TO HAVE IT REPLACED NOW. i HAVE BEEN ON PLAVIX SOON AFTER THAT BYPASS. DO I HAVE TO TAKE LEVONOX TO TRY TO PREVENT A BLOOD CLOT IN THE LUNG OR ANY OTHER PLACE. i NEED TO BE OFF PLAVIX FOR 5 DAYS BEFORE. SURGERY.
If you have a subclavian stand before 6 year and now it's completely blocked then you have to talk to your doctor second thing you can take Levonox but you should consult your doctor first this drug should not be taken without supervision of doctor you are taking Plavix.
Definitely Levonox will help you to reduce clot in your other systems but it should be taken under supervision because side effects and consequences are dangerous.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr Nirav Nimavat,
