Is MSM Advisable For Back Pain While Having Low WBC Count?

Hi I was blood tested and had a low white count. Dr said not to be around anyone sick, will be retested in a couple months. Went to Chiropracotor with terrible back pain and was introduced to product and also fish oil. Will MSM help me? It tastes awful and Im not sure I want to bother.

Hello,

Yes, you can take this drug while having low white cells in your blood as it does not have any direct toxic effect over bone marrow. However, you should take precautions regarding your health and low white blood cells and see your doctor for a detailed opinion.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr SAMEEN BIN NAEEM, General & Family Physician
