Is Marijuana Smoking Advisable While On Dilantin?

Hello, I was recently in a serious car accident but I am recovering very well, in the accident I was hit very hard I started to have seizures, I am now on prescribed Dilantin, but before my accident I was a chronic Marijuana smoker, I am just curious if mixing these two drugs will have negative side effects. Thank you.

There are no significant interactions between Marjuana and Dilantin. Some studies show that marijuana can help epileptic patients. However because of high dependence and adverse effects, it is not advised to be taken.
