General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
I had gone through your query and understand your concern.

Mafenamic acid is known to cause gastrointestinal bleeding, ulceration. Usually it is not recommended for paediatric patients.

I suggest you to use paracetamol and kindly consult a doctor if fever is not coming down.

Hope this helps.
If you have any other queries, feel free to ask.

Regards,
Dr.Prathap Kumar
