Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My husband has what we think is sarcoma (waiting for final biopsy report - hopefully tomorrow), and he is in extreme pain. Tramadol and Tylenol with Codeine do absolutely nothing for his extreme pain (thigh area). His primary dr. just prescribed Meloxicam. When I looked this up, it says it is an anti-inflammatory when what we need is a pain reliever. Is this an appropriate prescription?
