Is Metasone Plus Cream Advisable For Acne And Blemishes On Face?

YHello sir , my name is manpreet I have on my skin pimple and dark marks for pimples and my friends give me this cream name is metasone plus. I want to ask you is good for my skin or no. I am just now 21 years old .And I have allots of pimples on my face and I am using this for 2 month now my skin is better than before. Thanks

Hi,

It can be used if advised by a dermatologist. Metasone plus cream contains a potent steroid (mometasone) and hydroquinone the use of which may result in thinning of the skin, prominent blood vessels in the skin (red spots), abnormal hair growth and pimples. You should not use it for more than three months. It is mainly prescribed by dermatologist for the treatment of skin pigmentation due to infection of the skin, pimples, sunburn or injury.
