Is Methadone Advisable For Chronic Muscle Pain In An AIDS Patient?
I am long term survivor of hiv now aids also I have spinal stenosis and fibromyalgia. I have side effects frommy arv therapy that CAUSES MUSCLE PAIN AND SOMEDAYS THE FIBROMYALGIA AND THAT MEET UP ANDMAKE ME WISH I WERE DEAD.DR AND I RECENTLY HAD DISCUSSION ABOUT ME GOING FROM METHADONE 20MG 3 TIMES A TO GOING ON .IS THIS A GOOD OPTION AND WOULD IT COVER THIS CHRONIC PAIN ?DOES THIS COME STRONG ENOUGH I WONT HAVE TO TAKE 30MG OXYCODONE? FENTENYL PATCH

You can continue methadone. It will not worsen the symptom complex of AIDS and does not interact with anti AIDS drugs either. However opioid drugs like tramadol will be better.
