Hi,

It is not advisable for antibiotic associated diarrhea. Based on the given history your beloved son seems to be suffering from Advent induced diarrhea. There is no need to give him metrogyl because most often, antibiotic-associated diarrhea is mild and requires no treatment. It usually clears up within a few days after you stop taking the antibiotic. Give your son enough fluids or fruit juice. An oral rehydration solution like Pedialyte, to replenish fluids and electrolytes may also be given. He should avoid taking fatty and spicy foods till his symptoms resolve.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
