Is Miconazole Cream Effective In The Treatment Of Herpes?

Would Miconazole cream relieve symptoms of herpes? And does a yeast infection cause swollen lymph nodes in the groin area? I had a random itchy rash start on the lips of my vagina (right in the crease). I applied the miconazole cream and vagisil anti itch cream, and it instantly relieved the pain and itching. But because there are sores, I m scared it could also be herpes.

I had gone through your question I can understand your concern.
As per your history you seem to have genital herpes, yes these creams can reduce the inflammation of the associated area.

Your second question about the lympadenopathy, if there is a infection bacterial or fungal (yeast), it will cause lympadenopathy (swelling of lymph node).

If you feel severe you may also need systemic antifungal like fluconizole.
