Is Myrbetriq Better Than Oxybutynin For Bladder Control?

I was prescribed Oxybutynin for bladder control. When I went to my Urologist today I told him they made me a little sick to my stomach and dizzy. He changed my prescription to Myrbetriq. After reading the side effects, I m a little leery. Is one better than the other?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Oxybutynin is a good treatment for overactive bladder, but has more side-effects like dry mouth and constipation. Myrbetriq causes less side effects.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
