Is NT Scan Advisable During First Trimester Of Pregnancy?

Hi. I m 30 years old and 12 weeks pregnant. All my reports and ultrasound has been normal until now. Should I get an NT Scan done to check for Down Syndrome. My doctor says it s not required and I should only get a triple test done after 14th week of my pregnancy. Please advise.

* As per my clinical experience, with normal ultrasound, the NT scan is not required before 14 weeks of pregnancy.
