General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
Hi,
The way you are managing your baby's feeding seems to be alright provided you have insufficient milk secretion. Nan1formula is for infants) newborn to 6-month-old baby) full breast milk feeding is ideal.
Try to enhance it with repeated feeding, taking sufficient caloric diet(1500calories more than a normal diet.
It should have good protein, vitamin, iron &calcium content)With vitamin, iron & calcium supplement as per need. Consult your gynecologist for personal guidance.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Vasudha Jayant Athavale, General & Family Physician
