Is Nolvadex Associated With Any Nursing Implications?
What are the Nursing implications for the drug Nolvadex??? and is Lower back pain an unusual sign in the diagnoses of Cancer because I know of a woman who dies of breast cancer and she had an initial c/o lower back pain after being diagnosed the cancer unfortunately had already metastasized...
Nolvadex is not advised during breastfeeding unless there is a clear clinical indication .
Lower back pain is a common symptom Associated with many illnesses including cancer (depends ding on where it is). It does not, however, mean that you have cancer if you have lower back pain.
Please check with your OBGYN if you have any other symptoms like abnormal vaginal bleeding or persistent back pain or family history of cancer.
Do not take any medications without consulting your doctor first, especially if you are still breastfeeding. The stress of feeding and being a new mom can also cause back pain in which case proper support and rest will help. A urine test can help check for urine infection which can also cause back pain.
Hope this helps and let me know if there is anything else I can help you with. Wish you good health
