Is Norco Prescribed For Severe Pain Advisable To Be Taken Every Four Hours?

I was in a car accident. Car was totaled and I am pretty beat up but no major injuries, just really sore with a fractured wrist and concussion from the airbag. They gave me Norco 5-325 every eight hours. Flexoril 5mg twice a day. They pain is returning about every four hours. Is it safe to take them every 4-5 hours instead?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear Greetings
Regarding your symptoms of pain that relapses every 4hours following intake of Norco flexoril from a previous road traffic accident I am suggesting that you see your physician for re-evaluation of your medication rather than frequent intake of your prescribed drugs to avoid any side effects and addiction

I hope this helps Regards
