Is Norethisterone Effective In Inducing Periods?

my last period was from 27-30th April and since then i havent had any. Pregnancy test is negative on several occassions. How should i take norethesterone to induce my period? I have a long standing PCOS and had been taking methylprogestrone from the 15th to the 26th monthly for 6months then i stopped after i had reduced my weight to 60kg. By then my BMI was 28.

Hi I think you can take norethisterone 10mg per day for 7 days for inducing periods. Get a thyroid profile and prolactin level done. Of you want to conceive, you may need ovulation induction with timed intercourse for conceiving. Talk to your doctor regarding this. Hope it helps.
