Is Novahistine The Right Medicine For Bronchial Infection?
I MAY have the flu or some type of bacterial sinus, chest and bronchial infection. I am coughing till I black out!!! Where can you get Novahistine DMX for that bad of a cold??? I have used it years ago, it was over the counter, but now you can t find it anywhere! Just tell me where I can FIND Novahistine DMX and not pay forty dollars for it (actually found it at some shade tree online pharmacy for that price...that is criminal!)
Novahistine is a combination drug for cough that contains pseudoephedrine, dextrametrophan and guaifenessine. If you can not find this in a combined form like it has happened with novahistine, ask the pharmacyst if they have another medication (different brand name) that has this combination of drugs and it should have the same effect. If you can not find a drug that has these combined you can take them separately at the same day.
I would recommend you to first see your doctor and have your lungs examined and rule out other important causes of the cough and if all looks well the doctor can prescribe these three drugs on a daily basis for a week or so.
I hope I have answered to your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Kind regards,
Antoneta Zotaj General & Family Physician
