Is Ofloxacin Suspension Safe For Pediatric Use?

Age - 3 Months
Height - 63 Cms
Weight - 6.08 kgs

My 3 month old baby underwent a VCUG test a week ago to test for possible reflux / obstruction. The VCUG test result was fine and he has no reflux. Even though he was on Sporidex, an anti-biotic, before and after the test, he has developed a urinary infection. The pediatric surgeon has now prescribed Ofloxacin Oral Suspension, 3ml twice a day for the baby. Please let me know if Ofloxacin is safe for babies.
