Is Ortho-Evra Birth Control Sufficient To Prevent Pregnancy?
Hello, I'm 18 years old and have a question about pregnancy. I have been using the Ortho-Evra birth control patch for 2 months now. I had sex with my boyfriend last week and that day, I took off my patch because it was the start of the week to have it off for my period to come. We used a condom, but later found out that the condom broke. We are both concerned that I got pregnant because I was not protected. I'm a little nervous and I am very scared to tell my parents about my concerns. Are the chances high of me getting pregnant this way? What can I do?
Take tab levonorgestrel 1.5 mg within 72 hrs of intercourse that is I pill. However if 72 hrs are crossed than check pregnancy test that urine pregnancy test 2 days after your expected period. If positive than do ultrasound to confirm pregnancy in uterus and can undergo medical trrmination of pregnancy.
