Is Oxaprozin Safe To Take For Pain After Having A Stroke?

how are you doing I have a question my name is Raymond an I had a stroke 3 years ago an my doctor purschibed be medication called oxaprozin for pain an I feel that it isn t a good med for me to take cause I was reading all the diffent side affects so what is it that u think

Hello. Welcome Raymond.. First of all oxaprozin is a NSAIDS in our language. Longterm usage of any NSAIDS will increase the risk of stroke and heart attacks especially if you have already suffered.. But occasionally if u can take oxaprozin, it has < 2%chances of stroke.. So occasionally u can take but not on regular basis.. U can take tab. Tramadol for pain instead.. BUT IT MUST BE PRESCRIBED BY A DOC.. So u can always change that medicine. Thank u. Have a nice day dear.
