General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As per my clinical experience, Oxycodone is a centrally acting analgesic which acts on MU receptors of central nervous system. The Oxycodone has best efficacy in handling moderate to severely intense pain provided taken under medical supervision in directed doses as per the prescription.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
