General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

At this age, frequent coughs and colds can occur because the immune system is not strong as yet. This occurs in all children in this age range, they now have to build up their immunity.

The use of a wide range of fruits and vegetables, enough fluids and rest, may help with his resistance.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
