General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I have read your description and understand your concerns.
Pansec contains Pantaprazole, which reduces the gastric acid secretion as it is a proton pump inhibitor.
Cintapro contains Cinitapride, which is a gastroprokinetic agent and antiulcer agent.
Comparitively, Cintapro seems to be better for the symptoms your father is complaining of.
In case you want to use Pantoprazole instead, which is more effective in terms of controlling gastric acid production, its combination with Domperidone would be better to be used.
Kindly consult your Physician once before taking any such decisions.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
