Is Pennsaid The Right Medication For Swelling In The Knee Replacement Area?
i was given the topical drug pennsaid to rub on the swollen side of my knee replacement that is still bothering me. It comes out very warm from the bottle and my swollen side is already warm. Will it make is worse? I still have pain on that side of my knee
You can apply Pennsaid safely. Most probably it is due to local inflammation and it will settle by itself. If symptoms persists you can consult an orthopaedician and plan for an MRI scan.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
