Hello there I have read through your question and would like to tell you that pseudo tumor cerebri is a condition in which the pressure around the brain increases due to increased production of cerebrospinal fluid. It leads to symptoms like headache, vision disturbances etc. The treatment aims at reducing the pressure by various mechanisms. Prednisone which is a steroid reduce s the pressure on the brain. Other options are acetazolamide which decreases the production of cerebrospinal fluid, furosemide which removes fluids from body by increasing urine production. You can discuss these with your physician. I hope that answers your question. If you have any further questions please feel free to write. Thank you for choosing healthcare magic.
