Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Is Premarin Cream Effective In Managing Loss Of Bladder Control?
My urogynecologist recently prescribed Premarin cream to add to 50 ml of Mybetriq to see if this cream would help with sudden loss of bladder control. I am 52 yrs old and from what I read about this cream I am not seeing bladder control listed as a reason to take this?
Myrbetriq is a prescription medication for adults used to treat overactive bladder (OAB) with symptoms of urgency, frequency and leakage.
Premarin is composed of 'conjugated estrogens', which is an estrogen medication used in menopausal hormone therapy to reduce symptoms of menopause such as hot flashes, and vaginal dryness.
Kindly use the medication as prescribed by your doctor and do the necessary follow-up as advised.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Ashakiran S, General & Family Physician
