Hi , How are you doing ? Let me give you some facts on adenomyosis. Every month when periods occur most of the blood comes out, but a small portion enters into the muscles of uterus wall. This gets collected & cause inflammation reaction. Next month there is more bleeding into uterus. So every month the pain keeps increasing . But are you sure this is the diagnosis, as predisposing causes are - multiple deliveries, surgeries on uterus , removal of fibroids. You have to rule out Uterine polyps or Fibroids or cervical polyp ( with 2D or 3D scan or MR), Any endometriosis All these need different medications I feel the ideal option, better than Primolut-N are, 1. Tab .Ormaloxifene 60 mg twice a week for as long as you want. 2. Inj Depo MPA 150 mg once in 3 months as long as you want 3. Norplant sub-cutaneous effective for 3 yrs, can be replaced.
