Hi I am 23 and unmarried.I used to have periods for 3 days with heavy bleeding and cycle was 35-40 days but then I missed my periods for 5 months then doctor prescribed me primolut N for periods and progyluton for regulating periods I have no PCOs found .after primolut N I got my periods then I took 21 days dose of progyluton then after that periods came with less flow only for two days so my question is that should I take more progyluton or not because I have heard it s side effects .I am getting married next year would there be any problems with my pregnancy by using progyluton? Plz help me.
Hi I think you should go for evaluation first. Get a thyroid profile and prolactin level done to find out the cause of irregular periods. If anything is abnormal, it can be treated. You can take progyluton for 3 to 6 cycles to regulate the periods. There will be no long term side effec5s. Hope it helps.
